Does it work on phone (Android/iOS) and tablet?

The interface is optimized and features are now standardized across both iOS and Android. It scales perfectly for a massive, clear teleprompter view on professional Tablets, but is also fully compatible with Smartphones (iOS and Android). If your device is a modern smartphone or tablet, it should run perfectly.

How do I map my Bluetooth Foot Controller?

Most Bluetooth pedals emulate a standard keyboard. For hands-free control, you must configure your pedal's software to emulate these specific keyboard commands:

Space: Play / Pause
Up Arrow ↑: Nudge Up
Down Arrow ↓: Nudge Down
PgUp (or ←): Previous Song
PgDn (or →): Next Song
Home: Restart Song

How do I use the Transpose Function?

Instant transposition is a core feature of the Pro Player. For this to work correctly, follow these three crucial technical steps:

1. Use ChordPro Format: In your song file, all chords must be contained within [square brackets]. For example, a line should read: [Em]This is the [C]second [G]verse.

2. Define the Key: In the app's internal editor (or when creating your file), you must define the base key using the proper ChordPro directive at the very top of the song, like this: {key: Em}.

3. Enable the ChordPro Toggle: In the App’s Stage Settings (visible from the player or home screen), ensure the ChordPro Toggle is switched ON. If these steps are not met, the transpose buttons will be disabled or will not function correctly.

How do I add section labels like "Verse" or "Chorus"?

LyricsFlow Pro allows you to use standard ChordPro directives for formatting. To mark a section, type {comment: Chorus} or {c: Chorus} at the beginning of the section. The app will automatically render these in a separate color for easy navigation during performance.

What is the "Free ChordPro Wizard" and do I need it?

You do not "need" it (you can create songs manually in the app), but it is a massive time-saver for creating professional song charts if you have a laptop or desktop.

The Free ChordPro Wizard is our web-based editor. It lets you paste plain text, transpose the key, and format a song into perfect, stage-ready ChordPro on your desktop in seconds. You can then download the resulting .pro or .chopro file and import it directly into the mobile app.

How do I safely mount my tablet/phone to a mic stand?

Mounting your device correctly is essential for stage confidence.

1. Use a Screw-On Mount: Avoid simple "spring-clip" mounts. Look for rugged, threaded mounts from reliable brands like K&M or Hercules that use a threaded bolt to lock securely onto the stand.

2. The "Eye Level" Rule: Position the device just below your eye line. If it's too low, you’ll be constantly looking at your feet; too high, and the tablet will block your face from the audience.

3. Vibration Check: Always perform a "vibration test" during soundcheck—give the mic stand a firm tap to ensure the device does not tilt or rotate.

4. Cable Management: Wrap your USB cable once or twice around the mic stand clutch before plugging it in to act as a strain relief.

Can I share songs and how do I protect my library?

Yes! Use the built-in Backup & Restore functionality to share your entire song repertoires and setlists with bandmates.

The Golden Rule: Create backups regularly. The most critical time is immediately before upgrading the app. Do not rely solely on the automatic device backup.

When you backup, you receive a file (e.g., lyricsflow-backup-2026-03-04.txt). You must immediately move this to a cloud service (like Google Drive, Dropbox, or iCloud Drive). Storing it only on the device is not a real backup.

What if the app doesn't work for my specific gigging setup?

Both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store offer standard refund windows. Making your purchase virtually risk-free.
